What does ngoodjida mean?
Ngoodjida means understand in Darumbal language. Rebekah is Darumbal through her Father, who is originally from Rockhampton.

Together they came up with the name “ngoodjida” after talking about how she wanted to do more than just share stories, she wanted to connect with people on a deeper level and create true understanding. He went away and brought her back this word, that he thought captured the essence of her work.

Ngoodjida was established in 2020 as a way for Rebekah to work on her creative projects while working in the corporate and university sectors. After three years of building momentum, the business has grown dramatically. We’ve helped government departments achieve their strategic goals by producing short documentary films, supported community organisations to dream big and build long-term community engagement strategies that support their growth, developed suites of educational and promotional materials, produced large-scale community events, and delivered arts-based community engagement activities to help create change in our community.
